Introduction to business information technology
Business information technology is the practical “mediator” between “classic” computer science and business studies. As an interdisciplinary science it connects business studies, social sciences and computer science. In this course you will get to know the basics of business information technology and will get first insights in how problems and questions with respect to business management can be solved with help of computer science.
You acquire the professional and methodological expertise necessary in order to plan, choose, introduce and maintain computer-assisted operational application systems. Therefore you will learn, among other things, more about general system theory, computer systems and operational information systems. One chapter specifically deepens the topic of operational information systems and introduces their development.
